Perfect Pita will open their 12th location within the next 90 days in the rapidly emerging NoMa (north of Massachusetts Avenue) neighborhood of Washington, D.C.  Perfect Pita will be located just outside the New York Avenue Metro station at 2nd and N Street, N.E. leasing  the former home of  Heidi’s Brooklyn deli who closed last summer.

Capital Retail Group and LeDroit Park Development Company are leasing the 8,000 square foot retail building constructed by the U.S. General Services Administration adjacent to the new headquarters of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). The retail building, featuring outdoor seating and direct access to Metro, is open to the public.

Privately owned, Perfect Pita has 11 stores locations throughout the DC metro area and is positioned to grow further in 2011 and beyond. Perfect Pita was founded over twenty years ago founded by Attila Kan, who believes deeply in offering both tasty and healthy choices to customers. Perfect Pita will feature unique Mediterranean – American menu items. Offerings are as diverse as a Falafel to an all American BLT. Their chicken hummus veggie pita is a top seller along with the marinated rib-eye steak and cheese pita. For vegetarian lovers, the Spinach Melt is a customer favorite.
